Eileen left the San Francisco bay area and moved to L.A to pursue a degree in Philosophy – and here fell in love with acting. She traded her books on Aristotle for books on Stanislavsky and received her MFA from The acclaimed Actors Studio, where she was inducted as a lifetime member in 2006. While pursing her MFA, Eileen was introduced to the Alexander Technique, a dynamic movement technique that improves mobility, posture, alertness and performance, which she studied and practiced daily for three years. Through her enthusiasm for fitness, Eileen then found Pilates, and fell in love with the similarities and the shared benefits she had found in Alexander.
Eileen graduated from BASI (Body Arts & Science International) and loves helping her students reach their goals through the art of Pilates. When not in the Pilates studio, you can find Eileen on set, on stage, planning her next traveling adventure, catching up on ‘Game of Thrones’ with her hubby, or eating (healthy) tacos.
