Janelle has a dance and musical theater background and has always enjoyed an active lifestyle. From a young age she studied musical theater and various disciplines of dance including tap, jazz, modern, and ballet. As an adult she sought out various exercise programs – including yoga, spinning and fitness training – that would keep her body and mind healthy. Of all the exercise options out there, Pilates is the favorite. Janelle believes it’s the holy grail, the cure-all for all things neck, back, spine and hips, producing the best results for a beautiful, strong, pain-free and sculpted body. The personal success Janelle has had with Pilates led her to study the method. Janelle’s teaching emphasizes on form, is rooted in dance, and radiates with this passion.
Janelle is STOTT PILATES trained and certified in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Arc Barrel and Jump Board through the John Garey Fitness & Pilates Studio in Long Beach, CA, as well as trained in TRX.
