Growing up as an avid soccer player, Mikella learned at an early age the importance of cross training for athletic performance and physical well-being. When she discovered Pilates during her junior year of college she immediately connected with the concept of strengthening and lengthening muscles in the body. Pilates helped her recover from many soccer injuries and has significantly improved her posture. Mikella graduated from the University of San Francisco and completed her Pilates Teacher Training at the Pad Studio in 2012. Her classes emphasize finding proper alignment while working up a sweat and having fun!
