Cricket Wardein
Founder and Owner, Mighty Pilates
Cricket discovered the joy of energetic Pilates workouts while living in Australia in 2007. She did a class with multiple Reformers in the room and loved the energy that the group brought to Pilates. She knew fit folks in the US would love the mix of Classical Pilates with energetic workouts. Once certified in Pilates from BASI, Cricket opened the first Mighty with friends in 2009 in San Francisco.
She was scraping the funds together to follow her passion while working in digital marketing – she couldn’t leave the corporate world yet. She quit her day job in 2015 and opened the second Mighty in Santa Monica, adding more class variety. She added Marin in 2019 and partnered with longtime Mighty instructor manager, Christine Vleck, to open Lafayette in 2022. She opened 2 studios in Fall 2023: Berkeley with Mighty stars Michelle Hatsushi and Christine Vleck and Westwood Village.
As a single mom, Cricket understands the importance of making your daily workout also feel like a special treat because that time is so valuable. Her greatest joy: I love to hear that Mighty is a client’s “happy place!”

Since 2010, Christine has moonlighted as a Pilates instructor at Mighty San Francisco all while balancing a full-time corporate job at CLIF Bar, leading the eCommerce and shopper marketing team. In 2023, Christine left the corporate world to focus on her passion for Pilates and her new role as a proud co-owner of both Mighty Lafayette and Mighty Berkeley, as well as managing the acquisition and retention marketing for all the Mighty Pilates studio locations.
Michelle Hatsushi

Michelle discovered her love for Pilates in 2005 when life unexpectedly led her on a major health journey, after being diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. She credits Pilates for helping her get strong through her most challenging days. Michelle instantly felt connected to the positive energy and welcoming community at Mighty. Michelle’s passion for being an integral part of the Mighty community helped her quickly rise through the ranks from front desk to Director of Client Experience and finally by becoming Co-Owner of Mighty Pilates Berkeley in 2023.
Noel Teubner
Director of Instructor Management

Noel began teaching at Mighty Pilates when the studio opened its Santa Monica location in 2013. Proving to be an exceptional teacher and leader, she soon moved into her role of Master Trainer and Instructor Manager for the studio, all while balancing her role as a single mom. Moving into her current role as Director of Instructor Management in 2023, Noel has also proudly helped to co-create the Mighty Pilates teacher’s training program as well as additional continuing education programs for Mighty.
